FloSolutions USA is excited to announce the opening of our Butte Montana office. Butte is a historic copper mining district that played a critical role in the electric revolution and associated copper boom of the early 1900s. The storied history of mining in Butte continues with an active mining operation, as well as various environmental remediation efforts from past mining activity, including the notorious Berkeley Pit. The history of mining, groundwater contamination, and subsequent environmental remediation efforts in Butte has bestowed the area with a collection of hydrogeologists and groundwater expertise uncommon in most regions.

Butte is our third office in the US, located in the Thornton Building of historic Uptown Butte, less than a half-mile from the rim of the Berkeley Pit. The Butte office extends the FloSolutions USA footprint into an active region of mining in the US and a potential growth area for surrounding mining projects, like in other parts of Montana and neighboring Idaho. We look forward to expanding our presence in this region and adding to the unique history of hydrogeology in the area.
